Jasmine Shekar carded a steady even-par 70 to extend her lead to two shots after the second round of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour 2026 season opener at Bombay Presidency Golf Club.
Shekar, a winner in 2025, was bogey-free through 12 holes and picked up birdies at the fifth and 11th before dropping shots at 13 and 14 to stay on top with one round to play.
The low round of the day came from Ridhima Dilawari, who shot 3-under 67 to climb into second. Starting the day five back, Dilawari closed the gap with five birdies against two bogeys and now trails Shekar by two.
Lavanya Jadon slipped to third after a 72, with two bogeys and no birdies, but remains firmly in contention at three behind.
Amateurs featured prominently in the scoring. Zara Anand and Kashika Misra both returned 69, accounting for two of the three under-par rounds on the day. Anand sits fourth at 2-over 142.
Amandeep Drall added 71 to her opening 72 to lie fifth, while Misra is tied sixth alongside Sneha Singh. A further four players are tied eighth at 145.
With three shots separating the top three, the final round is set up tightly, with Shekar paired alongside Dilawari and Jadon in the last group.
